This can result in feeling weak or tired all the time and leg cramps. Beta-Blockers

Beta- blockers have the effect of slowing the heart rate and reducing the power of heart. ACE Inhibitors and Angiotensin II Receptor Blockers

A nasty cough is one of the most common high blood pressure medication side effects of this class of drug, however it can usually be fixed by changing brands. Loss of taste, a skin rash and on rare occasions kidney damage are also possible. Occasionally angiotensin II receptor blockers can make you dizzy, so be aware of this walking or traveling alone.

Alpha Blockers and Combined Alpha and Beta-Blockers

Again these classes of drugs may have high blood pressure medication side effects including dizziness when standing up. This particular effect could be considered good because it means your BP is nice and low. Just be aware of it and don’t stand up too quickly.
